Our mission is to empower families in Croydon by providing comprehensive early years support. We strive to create a nurturing environment that fosters learning, growth, and development for children and their families. Through collaboration with local services and community engagement, we aim to enhance the well-being and future prospects of every family we serve.

Built on partnerships with Croydon Health Services, local charities, and community training providers, we’re tackling real needs: the childcare gap, post-COVID isolation, and a lack of joined-up early years support. Interactive sessions empowering parents with skills on child development, parenting techniques, financial workshops and community resources nurturing resilient families.

Our space is secure, welcoming, and flexible — with plans for a baby room, accessible toddler area, and family support zone. Complimentary, we provide diverse services to support families with babies and young children. Providing a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is supported to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Inclusivity is at the heart of our values—we actively celebrate diversity, respect each child’s background and identity, and promote a culture of belonging for all families, staff, and children. Through culturally responsive practice and equitable support, we aim to reduce barriers and give every child the best possible start.
Early Years
At Cromwell Nurture Nest, our early years provision is inspired by the Curiosity Approach, blending the EYFS framework with open-ended, child-led learning. Our environment is filled with natural materials, loose parts, and authentic resources that spark imagination, independence, and awe. We believe children learn best when they are free to explore, question, and discover at their own pace.
Our role is to nurture that curiosity, providing thoughtful provocations and meaningful interactions that support:
1) Communication and language through rich conversation and storytelling
2) Self-regulation and emotional wellbeing in a calm, respectful environment
3) Cultural identity and confidence by celebrating every child's uniqueness
4)Outdoor learning and sensory exploration to connect with nature and develop physically
5) Inclusive SEND support, guided by our in-house Level 3 SENCo and local partners
We use the Famly app to document your child’s journey, offering daily insights into their play, development, and magical moments
Pricing Plans
from £63 per day
Cromwell Nurture Nest offers high-quality childcare with flexible and transparent pricing offering value without compromise. We provide both funded and private places for children aged 9m–3yrs, with wraparound care options to suit working families.
Fee Guide (2025–26)

Under 2s: £67 per full day (9 am – 5 pm)

2–3s: £63 per full day

Wraparound care: £6 per 30 min session (8–9 am or 5–6:30 pm)

Funded hours: We offer 15 and 30-hour funded places, including the new entitlement for under-2s. Top-up fees apply outside funded sessions.
